I'd like to talk about a recent customer visit – a V220d!
For this engine, which is a 2.1L diesel, we need to check the ECU manufacturer.
There are two types of ECU manufacturers, Bosch or Delphi, and it's essential to confirm which one it is because the product we use differs depending on the manufacturer.
The installation itself isn't too difficult, but you have to remove the air cleaner box and duct, and the fuel sensor area is a bit cramped, making it difficult to connect and disconnect the coupler by hand.
Having a pick tool makes the job much easier!
Installation completed in about 10-15 minutes!
I wonder how the drive home was. The customer seemed very excited, so I hope they were satisfied!
